Hello, Shepherd of Fire fans!

I suppose I’ve been kind of off the radar for the last few months. A lot of my friends and family have been asking about the sequel to the first novel and a bunch of other things.

So, here it goes: I’ve recently transferred schools from BYU to BYU-I and I haven’t had much of an opportunity to write lately. Compound that with summer work and it’s become difficult. However, I am happy to announce that the sequel, Shepherd of Fire: Retribution, is well on its way. I have approximately 36,000 words completed, which amounts to about a third of the book. I’m excited to see what you all think of it!

Another project I’ve been planning on working on is an origin story for Aodhan’s ancestor, King Cosain. In a brief excerpt I will share with you in the near future, we see Aodhan telling Caill a brief history of Cosain and how he came to form Cosantor. I want to expand on that, giving more life to the Shepherd of Fire world.

Well, that’s everything on my side of things. If you have questions, feel free to write to me and I will do my best to answer them. They can be about anything: the world, the writing, the characters, publishing, etc.

Thank you for all of your support!

Scott
